SENIOR PASTOR
REV. SEATON D. WILSON
Rev. Seaton D. Wilson is an ordained minister of the Pen-Florida District of the Assemblies of God. Before transferring his Ministerial Credential in 2007 to the Pen-Florida District, he was a minister of the Assemblies of God in Jamaica for twenty-five (25) years. Since February 1, 2006 he has been the Senior Pastor of First Assembly of God, Inc., Christiansted, St Croix, United States Virgin Islands.
He is deeply committed to the vision God gave him to lead the church to become a "World-class church that manifest God....." Rev. Wilson is gifted by God, among other things, with the ability to expound the truths of God's word with clarity, power and depth of insight. As a result, those who receive his teaching, preaching, counselling, or even daily conversation maybe educated, inspired, edified, transformed and revived through the Holy Spirit.
Rev. Wilson is also the Executive Administrator of St. Croix Christian Academy, an outstanding elementary school on the island, which is owned and operated as an outreach educational ministry by our church. He is the host and producer of the church's television program, Encounter.
Rev. Wilson purpose in ministry is to glorify God and enhance the well-being of people in every possible way.
Prior to coming to St. Croix, he served the Assemblies of God in Jamaica in the following capacities: Lecturer and Academic Dean at the Assemblies of God Bible College 1988 - 2003, and 1991 - 1999 respectively, National Education Director 1994 - 1997, a member of the panel of speakers of its national radio broadcast "Gospel and Song" 1989 - 2005, Pastor of three churches 1980 - 2006 and General Secretary of the entire fellowship 1997 - 2005. Rev. Wilson also served as Secretary/Treasurer of the North Trelawny Ministerial Fraternal 1984, Chairman of the United Ministerial Association of Manchester, Jamaica 1996 - 1998 and Religious Columnist of the Western Mirror Newspaper 1983. He has been a conference, crusade and seminar speaker in Canada, United Sates of America and nineteen (19) Caribbean Islands since 1984. He is a graduate of the Jamaica Open Bible Institute and Luther Rice Seminary.
He has been happily married to Jean since 1979 and they have two (2) sons, Joseph and Christoph.
His philosophy of life is know , be and do the will of God. He the author of 2 books "Soar Like and Eagle, Reign Like a King" and "Reign in your Domain"
